Industrial Design Online?

Does anyone know of any good schools that offer Industrial Design online? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks all.

They actually don't offer ID online, but mostly everything else they offer on-campus is also online. Except that. Dammit.

dude, unless you have your own personal workshop in your basement i don't see how you think you can do industrial design online. speaking as a 3rd year id student, much of our work isn't limited to 2D. there is a lot of modeling and prototyping involved, i couldn't imagine doing it by myself at home. most of it simply isn't possible. i've never heard of id courses being offered online. are you sure its id you're interested in?

another ID student backing up what moroi said, ID as a major in school is very very hands on, lots of physical model making and informal critiques that can't happen in an online environment. try to imagine a professor evaluating the ergonomics of a product through a webcam image, it just wont work.

oh.. sorry man!, I didn't notice that, what Moroi and Invincible said is totally true, I'm an industrial design student too, and most of the times you need to do funtional prototypes or volumetric, of course there's a lot of 3d(CAD), but there are a bunch more of things, Maybe you want to study something more related to concept-art than industrial design, of course you can do concept-art if you study ID, everything you need is on your wishes, what fills you the most, currently i'm studing ID, but I hope to finish soon and study a Game Art Design Bachelor, or something related to games or media arts. Follow what you want, and trust on your dreams.
