Nice enviros! If you should ever happen to have a tutorial hanging around, would you care to put it up? I always wonder how people pull that off.

Your colour choices are lovely! They have such atmosphere and depth. I really like the idea of that alien robot thing. It's a nice twist on the typical alien beam.
And that mountain scene is beautifully shaded... all the shadows seem to be in exactly the right place.

Wow. Scenic would be an understatement. Some really beautiful pics there. The snow covered mountains and green cliff are amazing. May I inquire as to the average time it takes to create one of these beauties?

I like the sense of scale in the one with the domed polar outpost. These are great.

Theses are really spectacular, I especially like the first one, and the way the atmosphere shows the scale of the machine. One nit pick on that one: It looks like the horizon line is about an average persons height (or slighlty higher) from the ground...and the top roof line of the barn looks very horizontal...which is throwing me off a little. To my eye, the top roof line should be tilted down slightly to put it in perspective with the low horizon. Really great stuff though.

I really like them all! A+ enviros!

Check out the last image, the bird flock at the top of the image, they all appear to have a white outline around them.

Moar!

Hey all, thanks for the many positive replies!

Walnut>> cheers man. I've written a few making of's, perhaps those are of interest to you: here (http://www.3dtotal.com/tutorials/pitch/), here (http://www.itsartmag.com/features/cliffdwellings/Cliffdwellings-p1.html), and here (http://www.3dm3.com/forum/articles.php?action=viewarticle&artid=129).

Ayem, xchosun1x, robinchyo, mariusz>> cheers guys!

Duman>> Thanks man. Generally around 10 to 15 hours, but that's a rough indication only. Usually they take a lot longer than they should!

zweiDee, space-sprayer, Darktwin, JustinBeckett, Dahami>> many thanks guys.

Jupiter10, you're right, I'll have to fix that. Thanks!

Earendil>>thanks. It's an artefact of the sharpen filter applied over too much contrast. My bad!

sony, qlanuknow, Reject-D, Dizon, spookybabydoll, MikeyH>> Many thanks!

katana>> these days I'll work on as big a canvas as my comp can handle (although I start of in very low res - 640x300 for example).

Ead, psychoboy, kyronimus, Kuidf^, artistcaleb, Mr.Punch, Omenspirits, Chagan, clanlord, ghoulio, `ej, Ray Stiles, Layil, matt0917, lotet, Jelluh, Wheeljack18, Joex>> cheers guys (and girls, hey Layil!), much appreciated.
