In need of a good tutorial

I am looking for a good tutorial for using colored pencils. I tried looking for some on DeviantART, but none of them really seemed to work. This (http://cati-joy.deviantart.com/art/Alice-Reese-for-Persnicketese-105053022)is about the best I can do with them right now, and I really want to improve.

Also, a watercolor pencil tutorial would also be appreciated.

Hi, It looks like a good start. What effect are you trying to get? If you want a smoother coverage you might try prisma colors. These can be blended and burnished.
