Yes, now that i can see it after looking at for a bit, perhaps the right side of the nose should be a bit bigger.

It is a very dynamic angle and visually interesting facial expression you have chosen, the proportion is also good.

A valiant first try, for your next attempt consider:

Pay special attention to the eyes, they are not angular, especially in the front/center of the lids, they bend around the eyeball, which is round.

As far as general technique, it seems as though it was a little rushed, one technique to pace yourself is to begin very light and work in the details slowly, gradually building layer upon layer with the pencil.

Good job, keep plugging away at it!

Looks great! This shows a lot of your personality. It's much more fun to look at than a lot of the more polished stuff I've seen here. I can't wait to see it finished.

2 questions. Did you use a mirror or a picture. If u didnt then do so next time. also can I be a lil harsh? Some ideas here and there will help you eventually but your drawing the facial features in the way YOU THINK they are not how they really look.. We tend to grow up and engrave this general shape of each part of the body.. its quite different when u really study the contour of every bulge and bump and angle. Take a mirror and do some eye studies. Search around for some ways to draw certain facial features. Checkout http://www.portrait-artist.org/ for some ideas. keep practicing. do one a day and u'll improve astronomically

Yes, I did use a mirror, (and of course, it did give me the reflextion, which is not the same eyebrow I lifted but,) when i did, I tilted my head down a little, and the angle changed a lot. I was just going to do it front on, but by tilting my chin down, it gave it a more long feeling thoughtout the face. I will post the final when it is done. Thanks a Lot!

Looks great!

Put it in a drawer and don't look at it for a while. Do another one. If you do a drawing like this every single day, you will be amazed at how much you've improved after a month.
