De Anza or San Jose State for animation?

Hey everyone. I'm a mature student in NYC looking for more information about these two programs. I checked them out online and contacted both schools so hopefully they'll get back to me soon. However, in the meantime I'd love to hear from alumni or current students about their experience.

I've also looked into SVA and NYU but they're both too expensive. Plus, I've heard that they're not as good as the ones on the west coast.

Never heard of De Anza but San Jose is well respected in the animation industry. It's a factory that churns out successful alumni.
