Around the World...and back again!

allright fellow members of CA, Im bored because Im kinda Ill...
and I had this Idea floating around for quite a bit now...so..

what if:

a sheet of paper (A4) would travel the world, going from member to member and everybody could scribble on it whatever they want andin the end it would return to me? we would end up with a great collection of work!!

I somehow begin to like the Idea...It^s kinda crazy, I know...but give it a try..

everybody who want^s to join, just post here and say so. I^ll make a list and we^ll travel the world!

and if it returns to me, Ill make a portfolio and send each of you a copy!

For serious, I've let the 100AP go for a while, but plan on trying another push after the first of the year. I still get people signing up, but so far only one person in four months has sent in any work. It's one of those projects that you constantly have to baby or it dies.

I'd be interested in seeing if your A4ound The World thing does well.

It's just a product that they keep advertising on TV over here. He was making a joke.

I like the idea, but a single sheet of A4 paper seems a little small... how many people are you hoping to get this out to? Because after 20 or so it's going to get a little messy with people trying to fit small pictures inside larger ones. Unless that's what you're looking for. Then it's fine.

Sounds like a good idea, but probably a lot of trouble to organize. In consideration of what chriskot said, maybe send out a good-sized piece of paper to each region of the country/world (assign participants with region so they know who to send it to), and after every paper has finished its cycle around its region, take all of the papers & create a mosaic/wall art out of them.

Didn't we have something like that but with a sketchbook? Didn't it get lost (like the 2n and 3rd)?

I think for a project like this, a sketchbook generally works better. One piece of paper, even a large piece, would get filled pretty quickly.

Meanwhile, I'm signing up for 100AP. I do hope it gets started again.
