All the bg is done by me in .... euh ... i think it was photoshop .... yeah ...

wow, the time of day is beautiful. I wish the character was rendered a bit more like the environment.

Wow, this is really nice. I don't mind the slight style contrast. It just like a frame from a animation, where the backgrounds are always more detailed and refined. Great job. Oh, yeah, like the tilted camera angle.

i dont feel the character fits with the BG. I like the BG a lot.

The character is from Blade of the Immortal. So maybe the title should be Japan .... yeah.

Wow. The sky and the trees are gorgeous, (what type of brush did you use to make those leaves?!) but the building seems a bit flat. The image also looks much better without the figure.

lol.. yea, should be japan.. that's the dude from blade of the immortal alright.
i don't think the guy fits in with the background, not because it's rendered differently, because he doesn't interact with the space he's in. if he's standing by the tree, the tree's shadow should be cast over him. if he's not on the same line with the tree, then the light on him should be alot stronger.. the background by itself looks fine, but the guy just appear to be too inconsistent with it.. as if he's an after thought, a flat cell painting on a different layer with the background..
