Tuesday night 12.16 features a Geisha Vampires inspired theme thanks our model KJ and to the Gallery Girls. Fun dramatic poses. 5 to 15 minute poses and a long pose if the majority of the class desires. Classes must be pre-bought (100$) using pay Pal Button on the blog. You may use the 4 sessions anytime over the next two months. You do not have to have a PayPal account, Credit Cards accepted. If you cannot afford classes right now because of the holidays? We added a gift certificate button that you can send to friends and loved ones and a little hint!

Hmm, I'm all for life drawing fun, but where I am it's $7 a 3-hr session, you don't have to buy them in a huge chunk, or have to "use it or lose it" within two months. The most I've ever seen for a session was $13. I guess it's different in Culver City, but I can't say I'm surprised that you're having a little trouble drumming up artists. :shrug:

In NYC you can find em between $7 and $15.

About ten upstate, there are fewer of them.

Dr Sketchy's in Toronto only charges 10 a head for themed costumed life drawing. Most of the open life drawing sessions across the city charge that as well.

At 25.00 an hour you're actually getting near the territory of hiring a model for one-on-one drawing.

rpace: Hell yes, now that you mention it. The models around here make about $15-20 an hr. With Dr. Sketchy's at least you get to do contests, have music and have the option of buying food and drink!

I have no control over the pricing since it is not my facility. The models are costumed and there is music, set and atmosphere provided. If I had my own warehouse or space, I would allow drop ins and a lower price, but this is the best I can do on the west side. Thanks...

UPDATE!!! I got the owner to make adjustments tot he pricing!
