Hey guys,

So heres the story: Its my senior year in High School here in Las Vegas. I have been taking "continuing education" courses at the local university for game design. Note this is not a class offered regularly at the school. My teacher is Bill Kunkel and I actually should have asked this before but Ill ask him next class. I have been wanting to go to a school where I can focus on game creation/art/production etc etc. The only art school around is Art Institute of Las Vegas. I was really hyped up about going there just because I can get a degree with their GAD program. Yes very costly but I want to get the right education. Now that I look through these forums most people here feel the art institute is a giant rip off with bad teachers and not really great ciriculum. The only other option is CCSN which is the community college, they have an animation program which deals with game design. I have no clue where to go Im no comfortable moving out bny myself jsut yet (im 16 now will be 17 at graduation) So im unsure what to do. I was also look at a school at UAT which seem slike a perfect fit, they hve online classes for game design but Id rather be next to an instructor and fellow students. Anyway they are based in Tempe Arizona which isnt too far but its far enough to make me think I need to wait a couple of years befor eI move out on my own.

Please any of you artists who have got a degree or are working on what would u suggest I do? I havent even see actual in game footage from the Art Institute so Im uneasy about them even more Xp
