Thanks for the post I lost track that the were doing this in CG.
Astroboy (Mighty Atom in Japan) is one of the most loved anime of my child hood I grew up watching almost every anime that came out then as badly dubbed they were they still hold a magic for me.
I had only a black and white TV but for some reason I still remember them in color(it that artist side of me I guess)
I got in the early anime underground(no translation not subs or dubs just raw anime) later in life and help people learn of what anime is and what it was all about.
No a see it everywhere and see i did a good thing but i worry of the future of where anime and mangas are going even in Japan we are seeing a drying up of good classic anime(good stories and animation).

I think many of us that that love anime today own it to this story of Astroboy Its a classic and I can't wait to see it .

they could have at least attempted it live action.. the caliber of that CG looks like most saturday morning toons that nobody cares for. sigh.. another one of my childhood heros ruined :nohope:
