Hello people! The name's Sock, and this is my Sketchbook.

Stuff coming slow, and I haven't been drawing as much as I should. I'm making an effort to draw more, and I'll be updating this thing weekly. I'm was thinking about deleting this book and making a new one, but I decided against it.

hey man, youve got some cool stuff here. Dont get discouraged by anything you see here or else where. Always look at good work as insipration and influence. The only place you can go is up!

It seems that you have a pretty good grasp of forms and proportion, but alot of your work seems very quick. I would suggest doing a few longer studies of anatomy if you can.

As far as fan art goes, id say just make sure to credit what it is originally a part of in your post and you should be fine.

Newman101 - Yeah, that's actually been the case for most of the drawings I've done. I normally do that because my minds tends to wander when I'm drawing, and I want to get the basic shape in before that happens.

Bleh! I all but forgot that this Sketchbook existed. Of course, this is par for the course, since I tend to forget important things like that; like birthdays, work schedules, how to draw, etc.

Anyway. here's some more recent stuff I've been working on. It's not much, but I've been going through a general art slump for the past few months. Nothing I've been doing look good. The only good thing about it is that I've been experimenting with Adobe Illustrator more.

The best way to get over an art slump is to work through it: just start doodling, scribbling, let your mind wander on the paper.

Bah! My computer's copy of Windows is acting retarded. The thing won't even start up for me. Luckily, I was able to borrow a friend of mine's laptop for the time being. I messed up my digital projects, since the stuff I was working on recently aren't on online storage. Bleh...

Also, I'm still working on that playing card project I started. So far, I've revamped some suit logos. I'm still doing research and conceptualizing a more solid theme for the deck. Yeah, I like cute fairies, a lot, but I still want it to have some variation in term of the types of characters in it.
