Tablet vs Mouse

Is there a differnse cause i hear tablets are good if you wanna go digital for most of your work and with me not being able to scan i would love to have an easier way to do my work then with the mouse.

But looking at your work, the tablet is the least of your concerns, next time take 5 minutes to use the search function.

that hurt my feelings the small ones. And why i was asking an opinion question if someone did one i would never find it due to the search does every word and not just topics. Like if anyone said mouse i would get that and waste my time so why not go to the direct source

A tablet is FAR better than a mouse, it's no contest. Drawing on a tablet is almost like drawing on paper without the paper texture and it also has pressure sensitivity for digitally painting.

A mouse just can't do that, plus it uses a whole new kind of arm movement to move than a pen.

Also, the tablet let you use your arm muscles more efficiently.

You got to be mind-opened to every tool. I love traditional brushes, for making watercolor or oil. I was doing digitals with the mouse for 4-5 months, then I bought a tablet. No doubt tablet is much better for digital work, but there are multiple types of work and multiple tools.

I remember someone here saying that doing digital work with a mouse was like painting with a brick. Sounds about right. It's possible, it just takes forever.

I wouldn't use a live mouse, but the dead ones are a bit small. Maybe a rat might be better.

everything beats a mouse cats..dogs .. people....pestisides ... contraptions thats snap when bated with cheese........ heavy objects....... loud noises..

Seriously, I was getting really bad cramps in my hand earlier this year using the mouse and forced myself to start using the tablet pen. Within a couple of weeks all the pain had gone. I still use the mouse occasionally for straight lines, more because old habits are hard to kill.

yeah!, mouse should only be an addition to the tablet…
It´s very hard to pick tools;brushes; etc. with the pen…
(I´m using a wacom bamboo one = cheapest tablet i found)

There is actually one thing that a mouse can do better then a tablet, and that is giving you complete control while playing FPS games.

Maybe its time to turn off the L4D and do that homework eh... :)

everyone knows that the mouse is the common prey of the eastern spotted tablet. i was hoping that you were posting a video of it though :(
