Hi all, I'm new here ^_^ Hm, not much else to say about me really, lol.
And my pic...doesn't look like a viking overlord but I like the pic still ^_^'
Oh, and before I forget, is it alright to post in the DSG and then if I like my pic to post it in the appropriate forum as well? Thanks.

This was one of my favorites...
Let me give you something to focus on for the future "faces" you may draw... Look for evenness. You should be able to draw straight, horizontal lines through the cheek bones, eyes, and the base of the nose, each one bisecting what they run through.
If the lines arent parallel, you have a problem. This looks great though... you nailed the eye, cheek, and nose placement. However, the right ear (the viewer's right) is lower than the left by a significant amount. Just thought I might bring that to your attention.
I hope this post helped out a bit. I look forward to seeing more of your work. You pulled off the mood real well in this one without even having to use much in the way of color or contrast. That takes talent. :D

Thanks for the comments ^_^
soul8o8...lol, my friend saw Santa too -_- Guess someone spiked his milk on xmas... :D
Halis_Aetrous...thanks for the tips and I'll try to keep them in mind the next time I do a face. Lately when I draw I've just been starting at the important spot and working out from there instead of sketching in an outline. This probably ended up causing the symmetry problems you pointed out.
