your apple is good. it looks like it would be a tasty treat.
your lion doesn't seem to hit home though.
if he is angry, then he should stretching his mouth all the way. he is missing some seriuos distortons in his skin.
Give us wrinkles. pleaz.
show us emotions. that's what an artisti is here for.
your technique is good. keep growing brother.

Hm I wish I could start up with doing everything but halftone images....:/..
Anyways take a look below for some African lion anatomy images, these are wery majestic creatures. You have managed to make it more like a canine then cat... You should widen the head and slope the nose a little. And put som ears on there..:D... And also most african lions do have a darker top mane.
Not the best anatomy images but you get the drift.... (http://www.africanlions.co.uk/anatomy.htm)
Good works anyways keep it up!

Thanx for your coments concerning the apple... I was actually trying to do something there.
However, the Lion or almost sort of Lion LOL was simply a doodle.... If I had been copying a ref pic or such like it would have been well a true Wrinkled Lion :)
As it is you get to see my doodling Sorry I shouod have explained as you all are offering crits MY BAD
This was my first Lion.... LOL and it was from Memory and I dont mean memory of ever drawing one as I havent... it was from Memory from a visit to a zoo in Tulsa Oklahoma a few years back.
Now based on that I thought it was worth posting..... for what it was worth.
HeHe however, I will endeavour in the future to be sure to let everyone know it wasnt an attempt to get a likeness of a Lion... far from that...
Thanx though I do appreciate it.
