So, I came across this song by "The grouch" while listening to "Glitch mob"
And in short, it speaks for just about everything that is me.
I don't normally listen to rap, at all. But the lyrics in this one is spot on.
This is the remix version featured in "Local Area Network"
Do you have music that speaks for you?

Does the music need to have lyrics? I tend to find Celtic instrumentals, goa-trance or techno, and certain kinds of video game music to "speak" to me; albeit, without words. If words are needed, then this fits very well on a thoughtful basis:
Walking Into The Empty Age - Yoko Ishida
If not:
Guardian Angel - Juno Reactor
Death Is The Road to Awe - Clint Mansell
Lux Aeterna - Clint Mansell

Hmm its funny i had a wierd moment with music synching with my emotions a while ago, i've always had songs that i feel i can relate to but this was so cool.
Anyway, i was walking back from the gym once listening to my favourite Metallica album, Ride the lightning, feeling a bit down. then fade to black came on, then trapped under ice then escape.
it was just like.. Wow those 3 songs completely sum up everything that im feeling right now, feel like i've lost part of myself and everythings dulled, nothing makes me excited anymore (fade to black) feel like im trapped into this repetative dull life (trapped under ice) and then escape came on, and it was like wow, this is what ive gotta realise now.. i'll give you a verse
"
Feel no pain, but my life ain't easy
I know I'm my best friend
No one cares, but I'm so much stronger
I'll fight until the end
To escape from the true false world
Undamaged destiny
Can't get caught in the endless circle
Ring of stupidity "
Was re assuring to know that im not the only artist who gets frustrated with how boring everyone else is, how everyone else wants to stand still, how they cant see time slipping away from them.
(i'll probably remember this post in a year or so and think.. jesus i was a fucking emo.. lol)
but ehum... last few days ive had harvester of sorrow by metallica stuck in my head, that songs lyrics arnt so re-assuring hehe
