Viking Overlord

This is basically a sketch I did today for DSG with a little more time invested. It's suppose to be a Viking. At some point I might add a sword and a Viking's helmet next to his chair to give more definition to his character. Any crits or thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

it looks like he's in time out but..i like the lighting and the the red backdrop is ripe for a crest

i thinkn he needz more hair on his lips and brows...
and some killer braids...


did i say i like the lighting... the chairz riggty rock'n

i'd like to see some steps and is that a basket o fruits on the ground?

-Yeah, I think I will make his hair longer with some braids.

- It is a bowl with a couple of apples. I just tossed it in to brake up the symmetry a tad.

- Actually I had some light squiggles to indicate a crest on the backdrop, but I should make it darker and more refined.

- A couple of steps wouldn't hurt.
