YAY! I love winter and I love snow. :D I am a goofy Californian in PA....and... I've never really seen snow before. I took a picture! http://www.deviantart.com/view/3977469/
Yay for snow! I got hit by a snowball and it was great. Heh. I am all wet from the snow now and I need to finish a painting. I put off my project for snow. *hops* <3

The problem with California (or where I live, Bay Area) is that it feels so cold like it could snow any minute. It just doesn't. But I used to live in Colorado, so lots of snow. I still love snow, and the ocean. But you can't have both, right ;).
You never went to Tahoe?

The problem with California is when the temp. is between 68-70 its freezing!

Mos- nope, never been to Tahoe... I've never been camping. I am all deprieved. :p At least I've seen snow now.
Olsen- hehe... you should move to Southern California then...would love the weather there. ;)

I have lived in New York state all of my life and I couldn't imagine living somewhere without snow! We just had our first snowfall last night that actually stayed on the ground. It wasn't much, just a dusting, but I can't wait for more.
Jelenan: You may not be as excited the first time you have to dig your car out of five feet of snow, but I am glad to see someone enjoy the snow as much as I do.

I've lived in Texas my whole life, and I've only seen snow a handful of times. It never lasts for more than a day, and never gets more than a couple of inches, but when it happens (once every 2 or 3 years), it rocks! Work and school, usually get called off, and all day you can just run around throwin' snowballs.
I wish it would snow. At least you Californians have a beach.

hehe, how do you think I feel. I live in "Iceland", no really... look it up on a map.. in between norway and canada, that little speck there.. it's iceland.. well, maybe not a little speck but still bloody cold. Two months of warm weather (10c). Sometimes the snow gets kneehigh here, but rarely.

Well here in southeast Idaho it gets frickin cold and then doesn't snow for a long time, and when it does it suddenly gets warm again, melts, then gets cold. The system is agains snowboarders and skieers and snowskaters.
Everyone here gets exited when it snows 2 inches, and then that disappears. Then they get excited again for another 2 inches, 3 weeks later, and then that melts. You get the picture.

you DONT want hail, well not that big! it smashed up cars, shops, even the weight collapsed roofs on some houses and shops because of the weight. Our houses aren't built to cope with weight like that, it never happens it was freaky

It just hailed in LA last week, remember? With that five inches of rain and crazy hail storm? Granted it was in an isolated area (Watts). It doesn't happen often though, that's for sure...

Watts?! What the heck is hail doing out in Watts? Fresno needs the hail!
The temp. dropped below 60 a couple of nights ago which means blizzard conditions. Governorrr Arrrnold is suppost to called a State of Emergency.

Yeah, gray days are a downer. When autumn began I was actually happy to see the rain, but now I'm back to being sullen when the sun don't shine.

its one of the coldest ugliest weeks ever here... low 60's
8-12 inches of rain in a matter of hours.. 2-3 times a day for the last week.
course it never gets above 93 and lower then 61 EVER
but a few feet of water still sucks .
saw my first snowflake at age 19 in reno
first hail a few weeeks later in berkeley CA.
