the lighting on the second to last post is sweeeeet, love the way you just intimated the existence of more hair without drawing each strand.

one crit, the right arm (his left) on the tree guy is overly foreshortened slightly, making it look flimsy and wasted.

keep up the good work

Hey man, nice work from what I can see, checked out your gallery to, some more things there, really like the statue of the man holding the stone tablet.

Read that you liked traditional art, cool. Just shout out if you want any help.

Hope if it's ok, what I say from just a quick look. It's a bit generalised. You need to simplify more. It's always the hardest thing to do, make decisions that are simple, same things with anatomy, try to draw the simple form of the muscles, this is what makes bridgemans work so incredibly strong. Making some thing so complicated as the human body so simple. Another thing is to be more specific with the breaks between the planes, this will help you to explain the form better and make you more aware of how the form actually works. Which will make the visual impression to read better. So what ever you do, make sure you keep track of the whole impression and don't start copying just small parts of the object.

Good luck man, it's a great journey.

Hmm, that portrait is either of Jesus, or one of the guys from Fleet Foxes. Either way, I love it. The tones and shading are beautiful.

Ayem – thank you, I wish I had

Brentos8, Nekromisantrop – thanks guys; a person I like wanted a drawing of a tree, so I filled a whole sketchbook as a gift. It was fun; somehow I like those that I did in the shortest time.

Lionese – thank you, feeling inspired is good

Young paddy1 – thanks dude, I appreciate the crit. I hope to finish that drawing some day and will try to tackle that problem

Silvenon – far from anywhere near perfect, but thank you. If you need help with something specific, feel free to ask

m.j. and Faust – many thanks

Munin Raven – thanks, those are actually self portraits of how I felt after work, hehe. But now that you mention it I can see how they remind you of Hitchcock

Verehin and donalfall – thank you very much

Mischeviouslittleelf – thanks, I hope to put up some paintings soon too

OmertA, algenpfleger, My57, jackpot anjr90, Suira, yoonate, bharat, Craz, Helioth, D@niel, destinyapocalypse, JustinBeckett – thanks a lot to you all, I am happy you like it and appreciate the comments

Pencilator – Thank you so much man, that was a really good critique. And sure its ok, that’s why I am here for. I have thought about what you wrote and agree with most of what you say. Sometimes I seem to get carried away with unnecessary details, I hope to get better at analyzing and deciding.

Lufiamanaelf – thanks, that portrait is actually of my father.

Clochette – merci Madame Clo

DavePalumbo – thank you man

Since Pencilator mentioned an older drawing, I remembered that I had worked a bit more on that one. I am posting the updated version
