I saw a few things that BrassHorseKiller did for little environment sketches and thought .. What a great way to try layouts and colors.... so I decided to do some of my own.. thanks for the Inspiration Aaron

The fourth one is my personal favorite so far.

im gonna do more cus this is great fun.

Those are cool (3rd one is my least favorite though), nice use of color.
I'd like to see them bigger and with smaller brushstrokes.

I believe that in the deserty landscape of the otherwise very pretty #2, the contrast is too big. Because even in the shade the desert is still a rather bright place.

Evil....: yes i plan on doing some of these a lo larger and more detailed. thanks for the comments.

SinisterR: i totally agree.. and didnt think about the old reflection of the sands on everything when i was painting. i will have to fix it.. thanks

I like 3 the most actually. Don't get enough earthy natural tones in digital work for my taste.
