Painter and Photoshop Integration

I would like to get some info on the transfer of files between the two. See how to integrate both programs. I keep reading the threads that compare the two, but not the transfer of files and effects between the two. Maybe I am wrong and I am not seein the correct fourm. And I can't believe they don't have an Illustrator forum. :)

Painter can open and save files in .psd format, which you can then open in Photoshop as per normal.

Not much Concept Art (ahem) is done in Illustrator.
