I was in email contact with you a few months back asking about when your sketchbook was going to happen. Something nice and bound for my book shelf, though I'd most likely have it siting next to my comp as I try to achieve the level of energy and movement you always capture in your paintings.

Really diggin' the rapid fire effect on the ground in the running character pic!

Dallas...you are very right! Sometimes these personal paintings start to become comfort food. Being aware of this and reminding yourself to push harder is really important.

Even up close those aren't half bad; you're not sloppy. I guess an artist never sees his work through the eyes of one looking from the outside in. That's interesting, though, to have another person offer a different perspective or interpret new ideas from a piece.
