I like the multiple light sources, but i think the picture lacks in depth. THere is overlaping of objects but thats is. I suggest using less sautrated colors for iteam in the BG and have brighter, more saturated colors for objects you want to stand out in the foreground. I also suggest making the scientist's face more of the focal point.

I think the way you have the matte is very clever, kudos.

well what can is say your right on all counts, still im learning , and each time i use this tablet im getting better, now to post that werewolf i did up the other day. :D in truth this is the third digital image i have done so far so im very much still getting to grips with the technique required. still tis fun doing this stuff and one can only get better, right

I like the image,but I think the stark white background pulls too much from the image, perhaps a darker tone even black or dark gray could be explored. nice details overall and i agree about the matte, cool design

the white bg is part of the brief the image is a between type rap around illustration so white around it etc for the printers for placement. ill put a black bg around it to see how it looks . ill post it tomorrow since its way early in the AM here.
