Hey...
First image post for me... :)
These are the first drawings I have drawn in a very long time.
Im just trying to get back into drawing and had a lot of fun working on them.
They took about an hour each (not fast yet as im still getting back into it).
I can see some problems with the drawings but overall im happy with them.

pretty good attempt, u have obviously been watching fengs dvd's but keep in mind line weights, u seem to use the same thickness all the way through and ur perspective has issues, also ur designs overall dont convince me as they should, what i mean is work out some more thumbs and try out different shapes, they feel to bulky and squar. Look at starars ships dont copy them but look how design effects the overall sylouette. Ur on the right track tho and also use rulers cause ur lines are kinda messy, it takes awhile to get good at ghosting.

Yeah I do have one of Feng's DVD's. That's what got me inspired to get back into drawing. :)
Thanks for the comments. They really do help.
I also noticed the perspective issues today after not looking at the images for a while. I must remember to check it more as I go next time and invest in a ruler.
The designs I did about five years ago as side profile images. I used them this time round so that I could get straight into the drawing without having to do new designs.
Don't get me wrong... I love doing the design side of things but at the moment I want to concentrate on the drawing skills.

i like.. it would look better with a definite light source.. since ships are basically a bunch of boxes, make one side unmistakeably light, one dark and one in between.

Main Loop... Thanks for the good advice.
Lighting was the bit I felt I was strugling the most.
I need to take better note of how light falls on objects.
I got halfway through shading the first image before I even thought about where the light was.
