I thought this was a forum for constructive criticism..not comparisons to other peoples work.. Not that his isnt amazing but the real issue is courtesy. I felt a little dissapointed that you didnt say hey thats pretty good but .. Take a look at what this guy did and maybe get some Ideas..Nooo you just came off as plain inconsiderate and almost arrogant that this guy did a better job than me..
I'm sure he knows a little more than I do and has talent that is not close to what I can do in some other aspects. Maybe you should try and be a little more thoughtful of others when you "crit" something next time...Just My opinion
Thanks anyway

Ok, heres a constructive crit: Dont use other peoples work without giving them credit for it.

Olsen, if you didnt notice he said it's just a coloring job. sometimes out of whim I color other peoples work that I find on my computer or on the net.. it doenst always have names in big red letters on them...
anyways...
The coloring job is smooth and very good. Shades are nice, the background is very good. But I would like to see some other colors on the mechanical parts other than gray.. some yellow or something like that to break things up, maybe just different shades of gray.. But good to see more pople active. Show us some of your own work though. And please try to find a name.
p.s. The shades in the background are a nice touch, I see you put alot of time into this.

I have nothing against paintovers and copying other peoples art for practice. I just thought it would be cool if he had mentioned the original artist. Not doing so is, if i may quote Morpheus, is "plain inconsiderate and almost arrogant".

He edited it after i had asked him, in a perhaps not so pleasant way, to give credit to the original artist.

Morph, I owe you a crit, soory i got sidetracked.
You need to push the tones and values more. There isnt really any shaded areas, besides the ones the original artist inked in. Also i would work on color harmony. Have all the colors lean towards one color, like a slight tint.
Keep posting.
