has anyone here heard of or attended NYAA's (http://www.nyaa.edu) graduate program for the figurative arts? I posted here a while ago, asking about schools i should look at after I finish up this last year of college (thanks ya'll who replied :)) ... well now i'm at a complete loss. I'm doing the whole graphic design thing right now, but i really feel like i want to be doing more hands on art. less design and more conceptual i guess (although that sounds sort of contradicting...)

anyways, i'm asking because i'm wondering what the program's like and if it's likely i could get in with mediocre figure drawing skills... or should i already be some figure drawing god-dess :P it is a MFA, after all.

i also am wondering if it would be worthwhile to attend (assuming i get in) if i want to move towards doing concept art. i dont know how liberal the program is as far as what topics to paint (like is it always models being painted as models with props, or can the models be painted as say, Satan in Chocolate Land)... but i would think by the time i complete the program my understanding of the human form would improve significantly.

bah, now i think i'm rambling. well, if any one knows anything about the school, let me know please. ^_^ thanks!
