I'm still studying and working on my perspective, I think his lower body is a bit weird..can anyone give me any comments/critique and also, tips on how i can make it seem like they're standing on the ground? I get the feeling they're floating.
Thanks a bunch!

looks sorta like I think, kieth giffon styled art, I know I spelled that wrong, the guy who did trencher? ..if he isnt holding the girl you will most likely have to reposition her foot, and to ground him,... you might want to add shadow from his feet, he looks at moment like he is on tippy toes?..wich could still work, as far as perspective goes it looks good to me. :)

his arms look like they need some work too. the one holding the gun looks way too close to his body, maybe have it angled outward more. His arm holding Mathilda also looks strange, I think it's because the proportions look off.
Otherwise, looks promising once colored (that is, if you are planning to do so)
Just my two cents

Yeah, that's my biggest problem in terms of perspective, organic shapes. Since I'm measuring and drawing lines to vanishing points before i draw and boxing everything out and then filling in the boxes. I wanted a more dynamic pose but I wasn't confident enough with 3 point perspecctive since this is my first time trying it out, I'll tweak him and see what I can fix, I think I find it hard to get proportions right at angles since its hard for me to visually see how its supposed to look in that angle.
thanks guys for the help.
As for coloring, I think I'm going to keep working on my basic structure first before I worry about color.

to ground hime i would add texture to the floor...carpet, tile, etc. also...this isn't three-point perspective (as i learned it anyway.) this looks like two-point to me. as far as drawing organic things in perspective...its a bit of a bitch but, if you draw the body as a series of boxes and ellipses as they would fit in to perspective and then flesh them out it should help you.
really nice work...i've never seen Leon, but your drawing reminds me of the movie the Professional. As it stands, you could take this drawing further by adding texture to the floor and walls and adding values...or you could start over and take another whack at it. really inspires me to draw some perspective stuff, but it just snowed 8 inches and i have a broken fuel line to fix and a broken alternator belt to fix, as well. ahhh....i love minnesota winters...seriously...i love em!:D

Leon is the professional, the professional is just the domestic release name :P
I'm following Creative Layout: Perspective for the artist. It's hard to see the difference between 3 point and 2 point vertical (at least from the samples in the book) but it's basically 2 point with a 3rd point converging down or above, mine is supposed be converging down but i cropped out the major distorted areas (since you draw a triangle and have the the points converge to each point of the triangle, things near the edge of the triangle or outside are majorly distorted) and the book suggests cropping those out, unless you want major distortion, and I think it looked strange so I did, but it made it look more like 2 point instead of 3. Maybe I should leave some of the distortions in to make it more obvious.
I'm going to take another stab at it for sure.
