I never get this right. I'm trying my best to jumpstart some sort of art life...I'd like to participate in the daily sktechbook forum, but I'm really not sure of a good, simple, free site for hosting pictures at. I'm sure this probably is a lame question, but yea.. I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

i think geocities and tripod work if you change the file name of the picture from jpeg to txt after you upload it, i use to do this with tripod and it worked pretty well

Oh? If I try to post an IMG here that's in "txt" form, that will still show up? I thought geocities and tripod didn't allow linking pictures, is that the new way to get around it?

i would recommend www.renderosity.com
it's somewhat like deviantart, but i think it's got a faster server and you can link images directly.only in order to do that, you've gotta upload your pictures not into your gallery but under "articles".that does the trick.:)

Well, I made a tripod thing, I guess if this image works, I'm in business.

all i know is that angelfire seems to work if you make a website with one picture, and then just keep making more. my pictures all have their own little simple website.
