Here's a poster I did for ADV Films. I'm looking for other career opportunities at the moment (my last day at ADV was about a month ago). I was pretty stoked this picture was printed out as this huge ass banner at the San Diego Comicon.

This is one of the pieces I did for a card game recently.

I updated my site with a lot of new work. Check it out!

Nice stuff,

Hoping you'd update the site. Sorry you lost your gig.

That really sucks. I just lost a gig myself so I'm pissed right now. Good luck freelancing. You leaning toward doing freelance for game industry, publishing?

nikia - thanks! The bottom piece was fun to do.

Eric - I left on my own accord. I guess "creative differences" would be the politically correct thing for me to say. Everybody's got their own side of the story, of course. The other guys are still there. As for gaming or publishing markets, I'm aiming for both, really. This upcoming year will be an interesting one. Good luck to you, too.

Porkasaurus - thank you. Hilarious user name :D

Skello - How's it going!? Haven't heard from you in a while. No, I didn't get any messages from you. I think I actually had it turned off or something for a while, but it works now.

coro - thanks man! It's a pleasure getting a nod from you.

ShawnYe - I'm glad you like the site. It was such a pain in the ass (but also a labor of love)! I underestimated how long it would take.

Wow, these are nice. I like the way you used the reds in the second painting, Your site is clean and easy to navigate, and full of great work. I really liked the production art section. Good luck in your freelance endeavors.

Thanks for taking time to leave comments, everyone. I appreciate it!

Here's a piece I haven't put on the site yet. I guess you could consider it a sneak preview of sorts.

Cool beans Sedone! Sharp but still soft and pleasant to the eye. Neato!

I never noticed you before to be honest. I don't know why. Now I'm off to your website. :D

Aha! I wondered where you'd been. These are great. You've really got the whole "painting in photoshop" thing nailed. Very clean but still looks very traditional. I find some of the highlights in the poster a bit intense.

Anyhoo, awesome work.

sedone - excellent work!
checked out your site update...wow! don't know if it's just me or what...but your more recent stuff looks hugely better than some of the older work.

What broke it open for you...or has it been slow steady growth????

...and like Dan said...
note to self...."learn to paint like Sedone"....

And Good Luck! You've got some great work to showcase!

your work is really inspiring - you get your digital work to look wet and distinguished. You know just what to leave out and put in, everything is crispy and solid just where it needs to be, and wet and loose otherwise :P
No crits from me atm, I'm too tired. Thanks for sharing - yer site is off the hook.

SEDONE! You've done It! Great work, I'm glad to see you posting here on the forums again with the mega attack of new work. Seeing your poster in comparance to the two cards you've done really shows your improvments. You've gotten looser and more precise with your color, shapes, etc.

Good luck to you with your future art career..
best

-Chris

I like the new site. Very distinguished and Sedone-like. I like that it's fairly clean and fast and yet presents quite a bit of work.

See ya.

Nice stuff. Thats the first news i've seen of thier Mutineer's moon project since the website went up. On a side note, creative differences are a recurring theme with regard to ADV. Wonder whats going on over there. I've met a number of ADV expatriots so to say. Hell, there's even a book about it by Tristan McAvery. To be honest, my only contact has been with various voice actors and Matt Greenfield. Greenfield less than others.

Thanks to everyone who's commented!

In no particular order:

prismacolor - I'd say it was a slow, steady growth (sounds like I'm describing some weird fungal growth). I found the thing that really helped me in the past year is working on my craft day in and day out, and also tackling a variety of subjects. It keeps the artistic brain healthy :)

maxx - if you mean you want to exchange links, then yes! I'm very impressed by your recent showing.

Prometheus - I'm glad you found me! I'm a fan of yours.

liquidwerx - thanks!

ceenda - thanks, buddy. Yep, I'm still around.

kress - Thanks for the insightful critique.

Chris - you've made some leaps with your art, too.

sea minus - I sort of combined various bits of my past sites into this one. I'm fairly content with it for now.

pvrhye - interesting...

bengal - you're too kind. Love your work.

DHC, jnorish, Franz - thanks, guys.

Josh - yep, it's a long road to greatness.
