I think this is finished now. First time I've tried digital painting and although I've painted landscapes and animals for a number of years, it's the first time I've tried to paint a person. If you are interested in the progress, you can check out the WIP thread here (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13225).
Crits and comments much appreciated. paintovers also welcome. :)

I love it! The only thing I can recommend is deeper shadows overall; it looks just a bit flat.

beautiful flowers and wings...too bad it ran off the end of the page. with a few small adjustments this could make some really nice tattoo flash.

Thanks bgermain, I actually thought about deepening the shadows on the flowers behind the fairy, (in order the get her to stand out more) but am a bit apprehensive of losing the brightness of the picture. This was done for a business card and I have to shrink it down. Hummm, after looking at it again, I agree; some areas could use more shadows. Much appreciated bgermain!

Thanks clocktowerartworks, I meant to have it run off the edge as it's for a business card. I kind of like the look for some reason. Don't know why. Funny you should mention tatoos, my daughter has been trying to talk me into doing a horse design for her to make into a tatoo. Trouble is I'm not really sure how much detail you can put into a tattoo. lol Maybe she will accept this one!

Thanks, bgermain, I might give it a shot, although more likely I'll deepen the shadows the old fashioned way seeing as I'm not too knowledgeable with photoshop.

Hey nika-
Great Job, I love the colors. But I think I agree with bgermain, I think if you adjusted the shadow areas a little bit, not alot mind you, but just a bit, it might help your overall image. Then again, it looks very good as it is, and if you are seeking a more graphic look then you got it. Great Work!

Thanks dyoung, yeah if I get time tonight I might go in and deepen a few shadows on this one. Glad you liked it.
