Love the works of LoveCraft. The books are a fountain of inspiration. I really do enjoy your unique style and the images is great.

I have seen much of your work in the past, so I know that looseness is key at times. With this piece, the creature below is well thought out and rendered....along with the background. Which is great. But then the creature above is seems rather rushed. All most seems like an 'after thought'. 2 different styles. So if you unified the 2 styles into one, that would work better. So either loose the creature above, or give the creature the same detail and attention as the one below.

I agree with Bomba about unifying the two styles, but one other thing I wanted to add is that I'd like to see more contrast on the creature below.Imo, he should be the focal point, and if its the dragon, maybe have a secondary focal point?.. He sort of gets lost in the bg...but it might be what you want.
