Noob alert!

Hello everyone!
I decided I've lurked long enough and take the plunge. This has always been my favorite type of art and I'm just in awe of the talent here. I recently quit my comfy graphic design job to (hopefully) devote more time to 'real' art.
This is one I did a long time ago-let me have it!
Is everyone nervous when they first post here, or is it just me?

It took me a second but I think it's sort of like a cobra (as in the snake) robot type dealy..looking away from us. I think?

But yeah, nice flow and rendering.

Everyone sees something different in this for some reason. To me it's just a gyro-balanced robot more as a sculpture than the usual military/aggressive sort.
I've had people think it's a flower!
