Did a two-panel comic DSG, further experimenting with this strange new style that I'm developing. Enjoy...

Thanks Girrafe. Although im enthrawled with this new tablet I think I have to stop neglecting my pad and pen :D.
I think halis's piece is of a sniper shooting at an enemy looking at him through a pair of binoculars. I actualy quite like the style though cuz it forces you to engage your brain and sorta decifer whats going on. I love the burnt looking lines he uses with the bold bright colours. Keep honing your style dude you might be on to something. Ill just stick with my boring old style though

Although havign a style certainly isnt bad, clarity is important. THe viewer needs to be able to know what is going on with minimal effort. After all, the purpose of the type of art on this board is for communication.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Like I said, this is something I'm still developing. I promise you will see it evolve with further DSG's. And I apologise for the confusion. I had a hunch that someone would not be able to decipher the image, but it IS a sniper shooting an enemy through the binoculars.
The style itself is something I kindof like to describe as "messy." I pull of the line effects that were commented on with opacity in photoshop, if anyone was curious. From now on I'll try to make the central idea of my art more clear.
Thanks a bunch for the compliment Hazzard! I hope I'm on to something here too!
Well, gotta split. I need to be at a frat party, it's Friday night.

mog: hahaha! That reminds me of the Loony Tunes with the two shipwrecked guys and the one guy gets so hungry his mate starts to look like a giant hot-dog. Classic.

good stuff guys it was a very tricky topic. i was out all day and couldnt get around to doing it. I was going to do a closeup of an angry eye with tiny people inside operating all sorts of machinery.
"they never guessed what they would find behind the enemies eyes". I actually quite like the idea and might use it if i get the chance

AshenWraith- sorry about this late reply, looks like your server might not like the country I'm in. (same with free250.com webpages) Luckily there is invis.free.anonymizer.com so I can see those pics though. :D
