Hi this is my first post and I have a question, i see in a lot of videos and authors draw first a grayscale character, and then add the color, So in addition to color layer, what steps you have to do??

Any tutorial or recomendation?

Lot of thanks :rendered:

Are you talking digital or traditional, because obviously, the steps are different in that one of them is on the computer. :P

In case it's digital, you use a "Color" layer in Photoshop. Check out the help on Layers if you don't know what I'm talking about.
The idea is to place tone first, then add color. It's kinda tricky and hard, doesn't work for me, but perhaps will do for you.

It'd be a good idea to use "Overlay" layers as well.

And it'd be an even better idea to check the other threads posted in this section.
