I went to AIC for a year, but transfered out to CA to go to another art school. I had a decent experience there, some decent teachers, a fairly professional environment, but the figure drawing teacher I had was a retard. That was about 4 years ago so I don't know how the school is now a days.
I don't know anything about RMC.
Probably not much help since I went there so long ago...
good luck

I went there for the same thing, although it was called something else back when I went. I came out to a school called Cogswell College (http://www.cogswell.edu/home.html) and graduated with a degree in Computer and Visual Imaging (basically the same thing you're going to do there).
I concentrated in 3d modelling and animation and am now working in the video games industry. I work for a pretty awesome company now, so it all worked out in my opinion.
I didn't feel that there was much of a market back in CO. A big chunk of the industry is out here in CA, so that's part of my reasoning for heading out here.
