Justin Gerard just finished this piece for an agency in Greenville, SC. Take a look--all Photoshop and a Wacom.

not sure why no one replied to this when you posted, it's a very nice painting.

the level of contrast makes it hard to read some things.. like the sheep for example.

keep up the good work though

need to work on the shadows on the ppls faces and the face them selfs need just a little more detail in them. for instands the lady holding the cow almost looks like half of her face is blending into her hood. but good work practice makes us better at what we do because their is no such thing as perfect:)

I thought that was picture of the birth of Jesus until I looked closer.

Nope... it's the pre-birth of Jesus. Poor innkeeper. You've gotta feel bad for the guy now. Bethleham was all busy and his inn was filled to the brim with people. And so he did what he could and gave 'em a stable. And now looking back I wonder how many times I wished he had rethought that idea. I mean how is that supposed to look to God when you get there. "So you didn't have any room in the inn? Well I'm all out of room here in Heaven." LoL Guess he's lucky that God is merciful. :D

The painting looks great by the way. I'm a bit concerned about the inn keeper's eyes though. I know what you're doing there but I still think you'd see some hint of a pupil. Looking great though. Keep it up.

Well.. beautiful colour choices but the Innkeepers arms / hands are all out of wack. Foreshortening needs to be looked at as the hand closest to the front of the image (which should be the largest hand) is way too small and the back hand (which should be the smallest) is too large... really, they don't look like they belong to the same person.

Other than that it's beautifully done.

I like the theme and the feel, but I am not really understanding the light source, its kinda like one of the sheep is on fire. The light creates a good mood, but confuses the viewer. Nice use of colors also.

Edit: Nice expression of Mary and Joseph.
