Wow! Life keeps me way to busy. I need a vacation. Posting some older pieces and a picture of the new drawing table I built. It's 46in wide, 20 in. deep, and 45 in. tall in the front. Hopefully this will get me drawing again.
Look forward to seeing some crits soon.
Scary baby piece I did a few years ago
Ancient gear solider from Yu-Gi-Oh, my sons favorite game.
Here is my new desk/table I built at work. I think it turned out really well.

Good news, Good news, Good news... Found out on Christmas day that my wife and I are going to have a baby. Yeah!! Also I have purchased some Ad space at a local gym for freelance work.
Wanted to add this progress photo. This is one of our wedding photos. After I am finished I am going to have it framed and it will hang in our house.

You've got some good basic proportions in your figure stuff, and they'll only get better the more you work at it. Congrats on your Baby and Happy New Year!!

I have had this piece finished for some time, just now getting it posted. Its on a piece of 5ft X 4ft piece of cardboard that I got from work. Took me about a year of off and on work. Looking to sell it if anyone's interested.
Hope you all enjoy it and welcome any critiques.

Just one for today, been working on some new characters, just for fun until I get picked up by someone. This is a Tattoo design I did to add to my collection, but alas it wasn't meant to be.
I will try to upload more stuff soon.

Hello all, It's been a while. I am posting just one for now. This is the first assignment I had to do for my Advanced Life Drawing class. I could have added more to it but the assignment didn't call for it. I will be posting more often now because I want to get better at this art thing. Thanks and I'll see you all around.

Hey, doesn't look like you haven't had much company in here. You should add a link to your sketchbook in your signature. People are more prone to visit if they've got an easy way to find your sketchbook when you post around this place.
My ultra generic (but so true) advice to you is to draw from life more. Looks like you've been doing some, but you should be doing more. If you want to practice painting in photoshop you should paint something from life, whatever's sitting on your desk at the moment would work great. I'm not saying that drawing from imagination is bad, or that you should stop doing it. But at the moment I think it'd benefit you more to do some serious studying.
Good luck and have fun.

You've got to post more man! Some of the those full-body works are pretty good, but I think you should work on line weight and consistent, flowing lines. Some of them getting pretty "sketchy" and back and forth. Don't forget to use the full value range!

Here are a few more from my Advanced figure class, Enjoy.

Your studies of bones, skulls, hands etc are alot stronger than the rest of your work.
In many of the figures and cartoons it feels like the figure is abit soft and clay-like... missing structure. I think if you lay down more basic shapes (torso, skull etc) and forms as an underdrawing your finished work will be alot stronger.

Thanks to all who have left crits, I look forward to more.
Here are two drawings of a Greek statue. The first is with graphite and the second is with charcoal. I get a little hesitant to use charcoal but it always turns out pretty nice. Enjoy.

Hello again everyone. I am really enjoying my figure drawing class. Crits are welcome.

Here are a few more figure studies I did for my class. I am hoping to enter some of the design comps. here just as soon as I am no longer busy.

here's my sketchbook link. I hope to be going to the Art Institutes also. you're drawings look well, but they need more dynamic composition. More spice, and props especially. Make everything over-exaggerated. It'll help tremendously.

Here is a piece I did for yet another assignment for my class. Had to create my model into a game art Illustration. I always thought my wife would look good as Lara Croft, so here she is, just a little pregnant though.
