well lately ive just been trying to work with colors and how they relate to each other.. ive been doing mucho quick paintings.. i dont think its my style....im still looking for ways to color pictures.. this was just making marks with 100 % and then refining a bit but obviously not to much..... the design is nothign speaical looks like a scary ms. claus. so tear into me...ill try not to cry http://www.tyadam.com/pics/albums/userpics/ezzy2%20copy.jpg

Hey, I dig it. I'd like to see more finishing on the face, but I'm pretty new to digipainting, so I think it looks good

it seems to me like maybe it could use a bit more contrast. try pushing the darks more to make the light areas really pop out. it looks good though, it reminds me of jason manley's work. show some more

well i just looked at some other posts and feel very depresed about putting this up.. everone here is incredible!!but makes me work harder,..... must get better, MUST GET BETTER!!.... HEH:) but yeah i added some detail, design work. and some blood from the severd head.. i guess she took a bite of it... eww...

Hmmm.....first of all, I'd put a thread like this in the sketches or work in progress section, cuz it doesnt belong here.
Secondly, I really like the economical use of strokes, although I think with doing quickies like this, you should be thinking about getting more of a value range. I like the direction you're going with the face, but the thing I think that makes it boring is that it has no transition between cheekbones, no chin, and where does the forehead end and the top of the head start. I know I'm no pro, but these are things I thought I'd point out. After all it is a quicky, but I still say you take great care when painting the face, and make every face you paint/draw unique, and punch up those values.
