My name is Ed, I'm 17 and from Bath, England. I'm going to do an illustration degree (hopefully) at uni. I know that I need to practice or learn my perspective, anatomy, proportions and some more technical issues. Here is some of my stuff so far. Please crit away:)

The digital paintings are me experimenting and trying to get used to PS.
The marker drawings are again tests, but I only had one tone so I know they are a little flat.
The weird alien/bug creatures things are from an old school art project entitled: mysterious and fantastic creatures.
The Jazz musician drawings are from my current art project on Jazz figures.
The character drawings and paintings are just personal studies.

I'll try to keep this as updated as possible, i'm currently practicing the things I know I need to practice and learn - so expect more marker and graphite images!

Some more stuff that I have done recenlty. Continued my marker studies and have been to a couple of life drawing classes.
The digital environment was very heavily influenced by a vid I watched of David Levy Working.
The bots are just marker studies (I know the nonsensabot has bad pers and proportion problems - hence the title)
The marker enviros were just fun thingies.
I also dunno what happened with the reverse view of the speeder, looks well wrong.

quick one today. Having real truoble defining shapes, everything doesnt really make sense - possibly because i used no ref.

Wow, your CG stuff really blows me away. The atmosphere for each one is so unique and executed wonderfully. : D Can't wait for more!

My first mecha. I'm not very confident with these paintings. I wanted them to be more defined and clear. Practice i spose.

WIP from a current painting i'm working on. It's very flat i know, im working on the perspective/composition to correct that. This might end up as part of a Card Game project i am involved with, who knows.

Psychoboy - Thanks for the comment
headlessAdi - Thanks, yeah anatomy is my weakest area. I'm hopefully doing a load of life drawing later this year.

Been a while since an update, so here it is. I havent had access to PS for aaages so i've just been drawing. These are just some random concepts, from enviros to vehicles etc. Most are very quick concepts, the idea being to just get in basic shapes for the composition, I went into deeper detail on the ones I was getting into. Working like this also really helped with my perspective, which has been poor. I need to sort out anatomy now.
