I like the Gandalf and Mecha pieces most, possibly because they're more "complete" in their feel. That being said, I also really dig the armored woman... but I do have one question... Have you studied historical armor construction? That collar you've got on her is a surefire way to get her head locked by a blade, horseman's axe, or other weapon. Now, I know it's fantasy, but having worn armor (I admit it, I have tried my hand at bein a stick-jock in the SCA) and knowing lots of people who design and smith armor, I can tell you that you want a design that will angle the blow off of the head and shoulders, rather than funnel it down onto weak points like the neck and cervical vertebrae, which that right-angled collar will do. The skirt at her hips looks pretty nice, although I'd put a support belt up at her waist and cover her kidneys. ;)
Don't let me stop the fantasy-armor making though. I think it looks very good, and is currently better than what I've got in my sketchbook as far as composition and feel go.

jemstone-Well the armored woman is still an "in progress" picture. And I've taken your suggestions into consideration and have begun modifying her collar to be more effective. I'm stillnot quite sure where I want to take her design but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon, keep an eye on the WIP section since I'll be posting my progress soon and would appreciate your help.
shambacca-assuming raw is a good thing, thanks
