Lovely work Eric and very inspiring to see what movement and impact can be achieved with such a slow burning technical approach. It has something of Utamaro about it....thanks for posting.

Well, judging by the number of people who have commented on the hand,
it look like the fussing was time well spent Bud.
For everyone else,
I watched Eric draw, and re-draw, that hand for about 10 hours until he got it just the way he wanted.
That attention to detail, and commitment to perfection, is really apparent in his originals.
I wish everyone here could these these paintings in real life...
they are breathtaking.
