Talkor Warrior

This is a warrior concept for a race which lives above the water, in a city built on stilts.

I am pretty bad at coloring, so I tried to use Prometheus' tutorial on how he colors in photoshop. I dont really know how well it turned out I have a pretty bad eye for color. I also studied some of Sedone's work trying to emulate the way he seems to paint as well but I really wasnt very succesful there so I stuck mostly with Prometheus' tutorial.

Any thoughts on what you feel I should have done differently would be appreciated.

the character looks stiff and uncomfortable, the pose doesnt seem realistic, maybe if he was made of stone, but even then, it looks like he wants to walk forward but is tied up by the chest and is being held back.. the character itself looks interesting but the pose just kills the whole thing. :(
