I was thinking of getting rid of the chains. Any thoughts?

actually i like the chains, add more if you can, i think the ones up top should have the portion where it connects more visible. At the moment it looks like it is just haning behind him, not connecting.

It is nice, though there is this one thing that jumped at me and almost bit me on the nose . The square-ish knees :). I would try to redefine them in a bit more natural fashion.

Keep the chains, they look good. I'd also add more. And as Oddo says. The knees are too square.
