Hey guys, I lost a link to some awesome illustrator(s) and I'm hoping one of you knows what I'm talking about. These guys had some really cool looking illustrations that looks kinda like old-school James Bond meets Tarzan type of feel to them. Some of them had titles like "Return to Mystery Island" or "The Girls of Skull Island" or something like that. From what I recall, the illustrations were mostly sepia tones, and they look to be vector art possibly. The style is very distinct. If any of you know what I'm talking about, please post the link :)

I think I know what you're talking, the magazines were called "pulp" due to the paper they used, the covers where awesome and exactly what you described or maybe not ;D

I'm not sure if they printed magazines. I saw their work online, and I seem to recall them selling posters/prints of their artwork. Do you have the links by any chance?

Maybe it's not what you're looking for.

Ah, yeah, that's not it :( These were much more modern, illustrated in the past couple years or so I imagine. They were more lively and fun looking.

Kevin Dart maybe? Not very 'Jules Verne' but fits your other criteria:
