Does anybody have a solution for the following problem in photoshop?:
As soon as I start drawing with my wacom in photoshop the pen sensitivity at som strokes just fails and a light stroke for example still appears as if I pressed really hard. The more I draw the more often it happens until it happens like every second stroke.
I guess it could be a memory problem but I already changed my first PS scratchdisk to the biggest one (18MB) and it also never happend with my Tevion Graphic tableau before.
And problem only appears in photoshop, my wacom works perfectly with procreate painter classic.

Please if anybody knows something, tell me cause it really pisses me off!!!

thank you

I'm not sure if this relates to your problem, but did you check the spacing atttribute in the brushes configuration?

Plus, I used to get inconsistent thickness and width with some of my brushes, so for those particular brushes I turned off "brush sensitivity". I'm pleased with the result. Perhaps, you might want to experiment with that as well.

Hope this helps,
Dan

if it isnt software, maybe its hardware, does your pen do that in other apps too?

I had some issues for a while, figured out it was the pen... you might try ordering a new one... or find an extra one laying around ;p

Yeah, i get that sometimes too, but only when I start it up. Usually I just save, close photoshop, open it up again and everything is fine. Once is okay, then is okay.
You might want to try flipping the pen, move the eraser cursor on the screen a bit, then flip it again.

or you might try to change your doubleclick settings for the wacom. Crank it to highest so that when you do quick sketches photoshop doesn't thinks you're doing double clicks and change the hardness to 100%.
Worth a try before shelling 50 $ imo.

I had the exact same problem. I stopped using a Mac. No more problem.
