This is a big one :O The Avengers which consists of god know how many super heroes ( 1,578,896 lol People mainly think the avengers is captain america) same rules apply except that you have 2 weeks to do the challenge
1) no picture stealing 2) No excuses for late homework :P 3) There is no 3 !
4) I took this too far lol

I'd say yes you do really need to have them 'vs' someone or something as that is the challenge theme after all. I hope I'm not takin liberties with GetiX's challenge but I'd say if you feel you may have difficulty with the villains feel free to be very imaginative like '...vs-a phobia of green socks' or '...vs- the lesser known ninja cake bakers' :ninja: :yum: or the...

...you get the idea! but I just re-read your post and you say you want to do it traditional vibe (which is also totally cool!) so maybe this can just be some inspiration for whoever reads it :)

- I didn't really want to tell anyone till I had the final details worked out but hey - I've actually been planning for a long time to work out a way to make this a bigger thing (possibly prizes!???) GetiX you've been awesome in bringing in the 'Vs' format to this Superhero series of challenges :yayca: I want to gather a group of us that can keep this going and spread the word - if possible even make it an official part of the CA challenge forums(<<poll?). I'd love peoples feedback on this idea :D

*A monthly challenge aimed at being top quality for those who really want a Challenge
*A fortnightly challenge of similar style to what we're aiming at at the moment for those who want to just have some fun and make some great art
*A weekly challenge that is more of a roughs and ideas thing open to any and all scribbles and skill levels (not that anyone would be refused entry to the other longer challenges though)

Just to let people know I've not been involved much recently as much as I'd like to be and havn't had much time to draw for fun due to work needing doing and just life stuff - I've not lost interest in any way GetiX! keep it up my friend - what you're doing here is awesome cool!

You're totally right, this is a very good chance for us to draw charactors that we never draw (especially for me) and get some experiences on concepting our own version of the comics charactors.

And I've been so into this challenge that I did it so fast and even told my friends to join, they're working hard right now to have something before deadline. Just wait :D

Hi,just came across this thread,I'm a comic fan from way back.
Teen challenge is no good for me as I'm an old fart compared to a lot of the members here.So don't loose faith,I'm trying not too.
I might not have time, this time round,does it have to be colour/digital? Might have time for pencils.
Anyway guys have fun.

P.s Hulk was in "The DEFENDERS" smaller group not as big as Avengers ,but DEFENDERS had http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patsy_Walker I thought she was Hot! lol

Yeah, I'm too old for the teen challenge too. I am also swamped with trying to get work, so I don't have that much free time. Stretching this one out to two weeks was great, but I like the idea of even longer to get to doing more than just pencils (SCP...pencils are fine, that is all mine will be this round as well). Most of the stuff I am doing these days is going to be for attempts at getting freelance work to supliment my exceptionally low income, so the more refining time I can have the better.

way too old for the teen challenge. and usually i don't have time to work on the challenge at lenght. plus my art's been crappy lately, I had a few attempts but came up bad, was thinking of going for a cave man drawing the avengers vs kang or something in cave painting style, just cause it was easy. thought of avengers vs tv avengers, but my best idea was gonna be like a retro captain america comic (kind of like the age of sentry) and have him and bucky, and then this portal with the avengers(modern) coming out saying 'We've come from the FUTURE for your DNA Captain America!" and them looking evil(they'd look evil to the 40's cap, you know iron man, ares, wolverine, even wonderman) make it kind of hokey, throw some distress on it... yeah, I'm lazy... so I did some sketches, just of avengers posing as a group(was even thinking of doing stick figure avengers just so I could get all 200 of them)... oh well
should keep them going. maybe if you posted what the future ones are gonna be give each one an extra week or two, so there's kind of two running at once, homework's due at the end of the week, grades on monday, etc...

a tip dont go pc world, way too expensive £115 for my scanner being fixed lol
