This is basically just another design for a continuing series of 'genetic weapon' type monsters for something I'm working on. Feedback is welcome, and I appreciate any suggestions for improvement, etc.

that's bad ass...
great concept and tech skills. I wonder if there could more muscle mass where the back leg attaches to the body -
He has no front feet?
Good job!

I love the design. You have a lot of great things going on.
The only part that bugs me are the spikes on the base of the squid-like arm. It would seem that he would stab himself nearly every time he rotated his shoulder blade. -But maybe he has tough skin, I don’t know.
Anyway, very cool. I would love to see him in motion. Damn, that would make a great animation.

works as a statue, tight line work. edgy and bold, which is hard to find these days. although form following function does not apply(back legs seem to be locked in position)but still look cool. don't know what your trying to achieve. maybe i'm dislexic.

WOA!! :evilbat: EVIL!...
Nicely done. Probably this thing couldnt walk without being supported by its lower arms. BUT who wants a thing like this to walk anyways..:D And probably the big strong tail would actualy support his forward weight, doubtful but perhaps. If it could then the tail should by all logic be straighten out... but that brings more stiffnes to the image but it will be more anatomicly correct.
I Like the exoskeleton it looks really flowing and organic. The slightly downwards bent lower jaw looks like that one of a madagascar carnivorus dinosaur Masiakasaurus.
Go Aaron Go Aaron.....:)

Hoodz - Haha, thank you. I do plan to colour a lot more of my work as soon as I get myself a Wacom. Hopefully soon.
necron99 - Thank you, and great observation. The front 'feet' are those 4 spiked appendages.
MessFX - Thanks! I guess it's a slight execution flaw on my part, but the spikes stick out far enough so that he can't rotate them into his own body, but you have a good point. Thanks for bringing up the animation too...I always design my stuff with animation in mind, because I'd love to see a 3D model of it running around munching on things. :)
Sketch - Thank you very much. Yeah, I went to CDIS and finished last January. I took the CAP program and then went back for 4 more months, where I took a Game Design class and some more Character Design stuff.
Lono - Glad you like it! Good point about the musculature. I'm trying to become more adeventurous and stray from the normal thing I do. I'm going to work on doing some more texture and muscle stuff soon.
Burn Things. - Hah, thanks. That's exactly the feeling I was going for. Resident Evil and the FF games are such a huge source of inspiration for me. :D
daarken - Thanks!
AfroLaxMan - Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Hudnut - Thanks man! Yeah, I browsed your site too, and you've got a lot of cool cool stuff. I'd really like to see more too.
brokencow - ok.
rc3 - Thanks, and great analyzing. I appreciate the advice.
Hammer_Stroke - Bwuahaha..yeah, I was on an extended vacation. Boy did I need a break. Anyhow, I've been drawing a lot lately so you'll see more stuff soon. Thanks! :D
Molin - Heh, thank you. Yeah there's a lot of physical stuff that would have to be worked out if this was going to be used in any sort of believable manner. Great critiques. Thanks again for taking the time to look it over and comment. :)
Seung Ho - Thanks a bunch, man.

damn dood. i've been through your 'how I work' section of your website, but with work of this caliber coming from you on a regular basis, I have to say that I would be willing to cut off my left arm to sit and watch you go from gesture lines to finished product.
keep up the bad-assedness~:clapping1
