Scoop up your ashes, it's time for a synergetic Monday.

Week 14 - Strange Walker
The challenge this week is to take one of the finished entries from the last COW activity (strange walker), and make a sprite out of it. The sprite must be a looping walk cycle. No size limit.

Thread here: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=138868

Have fun.

Other Notes
A lot of people have been busy lately, myself included. I'll do my best to keep the activities coming regardless.

A lot of cool entries. I'm gonna try to do Peg's, I think. That's a pretty cool looking creature. I just got CS3. I understand the animation /Imageready elements have merged with photoshop now? I hope it's pretty obvious. I'm still updating right now so I havent really looked yet.

nice topic this time too...
I was inactive lately and this week I will visit my Mom at her summer house where there is no computer. so I probably will skip this one too. but I plan making entries in the near future.
I'm looking forward to your entries :) best wishes!

EDIT: I looked at the entries... (I'm usually a lurker in activity topics, but not recently, so I didn't see them before)
schwager's bouncy bobblebug...
I am doomed.

what if I will be late with it? everybody will be glad with an additional late entry, right? :D
I try to work on it before I depart, but a few hours may be not enough :(
and what about dsg...
my spartan camp entry isn't in danger, I draw my gestures with pencil anyway.
and I have absolutely no lack of sleeping now, nights are long...

this COW-SAW cooperation was a great idea, we already have yummy tempting things... it's more difficult not to create something.

There's one in there that I'd really like to try. The problem is finding time :(
I will try though.

Great idea!

Thought I'd try out the Gontah by J90 first. Just getting back into animation, so I know it isn't the best it could be. Still needs some cleaning up as well. But, this is as far as I was able to get today.

That's looking really good, could easily be something out of a new video game.

VirtualSurreality: good job! and you were quick...

I will do what I can today. I always think animation is a very difficult, time-consuming thing, and for me it is, but not so seriously as I presumed. let's do it today, then :)

Sinix - Thanks. I think J90 did a great rendering job. I was just doing some quick southpark animation out of it. Though I do wish more games were out there (like the original Oddworlds) that used some awesome sprite based animations. Even if they were prerendered 3d models.

OTTA - Thanks man

shiNIN - Thank you as well. Wasn't as quick as it seems though. Kids were at school, so I had a lot of quiet time to work on it.

I played with the bouncer creature a little bit, but it was far too difficult for me, after all :( or at least I'd need much self-confidence and illogically big amount of time for making it :(
