I'm starting a thread for my basement full of marker drawings. I believe that these need to see the light of day. Hopefully some of you will think so as well. Comments and crits are always welcome, especially crits.

Enjoy!

I find that first, upper left pose there. i was experimenting with perspective a few weeks ago with that same exact pose. While they're all good, the two right ones seem disproportionate. Like the top right one has a neck that is too long and a small head. the bottom right has feet that are two big. I don't know if this was done intentionally, but the hands are also too big. But overall, I like the fun sketchiness to it.

Yes the exaggeration is intentional.

Don't forget the rhythm line from the top of one Trapezius to the other ( seen from the front). It isn't straight across - it arcs. You seem to get it sometimes, and sometimes it isn't there.

Also: every time you put in dark slashing shade lines, you are drawing attention. Be sure you want attention in these places.

Thanks Maxine!

Bobby Chiu mentioned the same thing to me about the slashy darks, and both of you are right: it can be too much. One of the unfortunate side effects of growing up reading mainstream North American comics.
