well im sure ill just be reiterating something that is asked all the time. but i would like some ideas on what hi res scanner/printers i should look at.

If you get that feeling, it's likely correct and you should check out the advanced search function before posting. :P There are tons of hardware threads in the Lounge, here and even occasionally in the Painter/Photoshop forums. :)

(I would offer an actual answer, but my hardware is ancient and I don't know what the newest and shinyest in scanners/printers is.)

My only piece of advice would be to spend a couple extra dollars to get a scanner and printer that will work with A3 size paper.
