Hello...I think you like indefinite. I would say you like something that went from point A and didn't arrive in point B, but still wandering around, pondering about nuances :). I'm guilty of this too in most cases.
I looked at your first image trying to catch the elusive emotion because it certainly does communicate, and this conversation is very fine, just suggestive... When I look at the image, the visuals work as a start, and then my mind goes father see the following pictures...But what is it, this black spaceship passing the fainting city: a menace or long awaiting hope? is it a hero in the middle of his long journey, or is it the last chapter with crushed expectations... and the feeling was very subtle and hard to define.
But I think the black ship is carrying hope to someone. ... Just probably because it is the only moving, ever changing object surrounded by this moot, suffocating air and unresponsive mountains. Sun is big, but weak, its heat is getting lost in yellow powder of the air.
I would call this piece of yours "Twilight" or " Awaiting" or "In the middle of happening"... something like this. Thanks for saying it so unforcibly.
I hope to hear how much off I am. :). (it is not a political satire on financial crisis, isn't it? with Savior2008 flying to economy ruins, being himself lost in fog? :)).
A tiny crit for this piece, because I really think it's wonderful... but the sharp textures of the city and the rocks look a tad bit too crispy. Just a little bit less of this sharpness and in my opinion, a viewer will be much more in the state of trans. Just a bit more air, just a bit less information would be better I think... But nevertheless, the feeling of uncertainty is very truthful, IMO.
Another image I liked is this little one with wandering lights on the rock wall.. Just a great truthful feeling of something suddenly reappeared in from of the eyes when you climbed higher than the rest of the world. Unhuman and beautiful. Potentially dangerous, but too beautiful and charming to become uneasy. Maybe it is some glowing dust, or moving insects or some breathing form of life, the whole community of it, living, building, moving, expending to the rest of the world slowly, but not being discovered until this moment. And I imagine this moment of enlightenment when their existence suddenly become a real fact for unsuspected viewer... like a gasp. The general feeling is lungs full of mountain air and half pleasant feeling of adventure. So mix actually of calm and unrest feeling.
And few words about nice little inkling... the disturbed man going into horizon line. I think it is absolutely wonderful in mood and execution. I especially like how lovely the nature around this man, and how displaced his figure, and the most I like this screaming emptiness of sky, the light coming at me and the man receding into it. it feels again sad but beautiful.
Special kudos for beautiful negative space in the image.
I have more critique, but I always have a feeling you know it all before I open my mouth.
Hope you are doing great. Share some of your last projects please, at least hint on what are they.

I am sorry if I've past this question without notice,
but how did you go about making the pieces? Are all of them completley digital, do you make grids before starting or do you just make them out of the blue? :)
This is awesome stuff, thanks for the inspiration!

Pippis - The inviroments are all done in PS only without grids. The sequential pieces and some of the rest are scanned pencil drawings colored in PS. Just playing around really. Hope that helps a bit. Thanks, mate!
